Who can get funding?
You work in a hotel or restaurant (or are on parental leave from such a job). And:
- You are over 55, or
- You are on parental leave – or your parental leave ended no more than 12 months ago, or
- You have worked in hotels or restaurants for more than 5 years and were employed for at least 4 of those years in total.
What you need for your application
- Photo ID (e.g. passport or identity card)
- Insurance data extract (Versicherungsdatenauszug) or employment contract and payslip
- Confirmation of your parental leave
- Insurance data extract covering 5 years
